Reach for the thought that feels better, and allow the natural Well-Being that is yours.
Abraham Hicks
Some time ago, I did this gratitude challenge where every day, for 100 days, I posted one thing that I was grateful for. It proved to be quite a challenge! But to be honest, I missed the point, I missed an opportunity to heighten and strengthen my vibe and be in a better position to manifest! I mean, I am sure I got some benefit, but what I experienced was frustration! It was increasingly difficult to come up with legitimate things with which to be grateful!
See, when you try to force an attitude of gratitude simply because you are part of a challenge or it’s the cool thing to be doing right now, or because you want to manifest something you desire, all you are really doing is creating more frustration as you try to force a feeling that is not actually there. Better to start with where you are and allow yourself to easily let go of negative lower vibration, or hold on to any positive vibration of what you are already feeling, rather than trying to conjure up feelings that are not as rooted in truth and therefore not as strong. After that, when you are feeling good and you are feeling grateful, and your vibes are high, you will be in the right place to receive what you want!
What you want is already there waiting for you! Where, you ask? Abraham calls this mystical place The Vortex. They describe it as a personal bank account in the universe that only you can withdraw from. Everything you want is already waiting for you in The Vortex but most of us are standing outside The Vortex complaining about what we don’t have that is in The Vortex waiting for us! All we have to do is get in there!
The way in is through knowing and the way to knowing begins with gratitude. This is why gratitude is so important and must be done right! You must first make a shift into gratitude rooted in truth before you can begin receiving what is already yours. Once again, start from where you are! Look around you and find one thing for which you can be grateful for right now, your health, your family and friends, food and electricity. Close your eyes and hold an image of it in your mind and feel the gratitude for 30 seconds or more. Then, while you are feeling all that gratitude, write down what you are grateful for in a gratitude journal! Repeat this process as many times as you like and make it a part of your daily routine. I good goal to aim for is at least twice a day; once upon arising, and once before going to bed.
