I thought the whole thing was a fantastic nod to the arts culture and history of France and the Olympics and I found the inclusions VERY refreshing… obviously a surprising number of people have quite a different perspective! 🤯 It’s amazing how perceptions on art can color and strengthen beliefs. Is it wrong? Is it right? 🤷🏾♀️ It is art!
Anyway, from an HD standpoint, it’s very interesting to see all the different opinions being shared. Have you seen the nodes?
It can be said that there is a beauty to diversity. Diversity in how beings look, in the choices they make and the perceptions they experience. Many of us are closed to diversity. Or at least selective in the types of diversity we choose to allow. But to the extent that we can see and allow diversity, there is also this possibility to be able to communicate valuable opinions that are inclusive of that allowed diversity.
At some point you believe that what you have learned is the ultimate truth and that there is nothing left to learn. That your understanding is complete. I see this in the way that the offended Christian’s are unable to see much less accept that there were other significances of the images in the opening ceremonies. Did they demand an apology? Like a collective diva, did they express their wounded outrage as if the perspectives and feelings of anyone else, especially the creators, were of little importance? More importantly, did they try and understand another perspective before jumping into their own darkness?
The eternal child and their curiosities. Always learning and growing and opening new horizons. To take in and learn something new and expand! To accept and allow. But this is not what the world is doing.
The potential to share the values of the correction with others. The world is stuck in Christian values unable to perceive other perspectives. And as Christian’s are wont to do, they must proselytize their own values onto the world and hold the rest of us back from seeing different perspectives. From growth and new horizons.
In my opinion, this whole stage is an opportunity for growth. When I am triggered, often it’s something in me that needs looking into. An opportunity for self exploration or shadow work. If you are looking for the devil, you will undoubtedly find what you are looking for. I doubt an offended Christian will read what I’ve written, I doubt anyone will. So I feel comfortable writing that if you are triggered by this brilliant work of art, then that says more about you than you think.
